Fundamentally the inspection process does not differ we still inspect the property with the same procedure covering all areas reporting all defects with the same consistent standards. However the wording in some sections of the reporting process is different to accommodate the sale process.
Your report will be emailed to you on the same day of the home inspection. The inspector will also verbally communicate findings to you once you have at a minimum read the major summary section of the report/s (the page is positioned at the front of the report/s immediately after the index so you cannot miss it). You may request a hard copy of the inspection report at no extra charge.
If you wish to be present during your home inspection we completely understand, however we will not accept any distractions during the process as this may lead to missing items during the inspection. We will discuss any questions you may have after the inspection process is completed.
Yes. An inspection is always recommended before purchasing a home (old or new). Just because the home is new does not mean that everything is ok. Defects not rectified during the building process can cause deterioration in quite a short time span.
